Emilija Rygelis
Hey, my name is Emilija Rygelis and this is my portfolio. I am 22 years old from the 11211 burg, graduate from Bucknell University with a BA in Studio Art, and have been playing the piano for 16 years. I have found my artistic passion currently residing in the photographic medium, however, I do not limit my artistic endeavors solely to photography. I draw, paint, etch, sculpt, weld, design, and make films, and within the past year or two, I have found myself working not within the boundaries of a single artistic medium but amidst all of them, creating something closer to a combination and collaboration of many different processes. My aim for creating the things I do, is to share with others, connect with others, and hopefully make an impact on others. Specifically, my works serve not as a lesson, isolated statement, or argumentative idea, rather, they display a simple action, thought, idea, or narrative leaving the viewer with nothing more than what they themselves shall individually come up with.
